Appearance: Black hair, 6f2, Black eyes, Black feathered wings he does not use them, unless he is with his siblings. Personality: Themistocles is quiet and brooding. He barely speaks unless to his family or to his priests. He is by far the more calculating of the Quads Background:
Third born of Hades and Persephone, Themistocles is a cross between his mother and his father. He was given a duel domain, God of Mortal Souls, Minor God of death. The family spent time in a time bubble where the young gods learned about their powers and their close knit family unit was even more evident when they emerged. They spent 100 years in that bubble, but to the outside world, only hours had passed. During his time there he and his brother Draconis (Draco) grew close enjoying the games that they played with their sisters. Over the years in the bubble Mist became more and more protective of Athanasia.
Mist is very much a product of his family line. The grandson/nephew of Zeus and grandson/nephew of Demeter, he enjoys the respect he gets from his relations with them as well as the fear and power he gets from being the Son of Hades and Persephone, though since his arrival in the normal realm and time flow, he has come into his own.
Once clear of the Bubble, Mist searched for the perfect place. He finally settled on Thasos, a small island off the coast of Philippi. It was here he built his main temple. He commanded the people of the isle to worship only him and he blocked off all trade that was not first approved by him. He built up his own army called the Reveres of Dusk, meaning that if you cross them, then you might be meeting the dusk of your life. They help police his City and when there is need will join with the armies of his siblings and fight with them. A platoon of them resides at the hidden joint temple along with platoons from the other quads temples.
His palace is made of grey marble like his sister Athanasia's but with one main difference. Even though he too has a glass floor in his dark and dismal throne room, it shows a large labyrinth of dungeons. Within these dungeons he keeps those who he deems evil, so he can torture them at will.
Themistocles has a staff made of polished obsidian with a Topaz on the top. This staff is very powerful, A gift from his mother upon their return from the bubble. If a mortal looks into the gem atop the staff, or touches it their soul will be sucked from them. Even though Mist' powers can do that this is an easy way to store souls for him. His followers are both male and female and Mist is very egalitarian about their duties. His followers are loyal and will take offence to any slight against their God. Themistocles' Priests and Priestesses call him "Feared One" and there are a number of rituals within his 'following' which are not open to outsiders. There are 5 ranks among those who serve in his temple.
5. Apprentices: The lowest of all. These are aged from 6-14. And are mainly servants to the upper ranks. They do not live at the temple but travel daily to it, via special means in the City. Sexes are segregated. They wear Pale grey robes. (Currently they number 15). Not all make it to the next level. They often find apprenticeships in the Cities of the island
4. From Ages 15 to 18, they are kept at the temple. From this age, they are placed in one dorm, both male and female and are forbidden clothing while not working. They are called Novices. They wear Grey Robes with one brown band. (Number 10) Virginity is lost around this time. No one can be a priest/Priestess in Mist's temples and be a virgin. From this number, 3 are selected to be trained in torture.
3. Priests and Priestesses. From ages 18 and up. They live at the temple, they have their own rooms. (10) They wear Grey Robes with 2 brown bands. They wander through Greece at their God's bidding, selecting slaves for their Goddess.
2. High Priests/Priestesses (4). They wear a Brown robe. They chose the novices. And often initiate the junior priests and priestesses into the priesthood. Initiation Rite is classified.
1. A father Superior and Mother Superior. One of each. Mother Superior: Amarllyis Father Superior: Zenon They attend to Themistocles' every need. Amarllyis has three children which are well hidden. Rumors abound over what they look like and why they are kept away. They wear golden robes
Mist has small temples in Serdica, Scupi, and Karpathos with permission from his siblings.
Powers: Mist's powers are very nasty. He can steal a person's soul leaving them an alive yet empty shell, or kill them outright. He is a minor god of death
