PoissA,
Goddess of Poisons

Name: Poissa, Goddess of Poisions.

Parentage:
Father - Are, God of War
Mother - Cassandra, Goddess of Violence and Debauchery

Gender: Female

Appearance: Poissa  has long ruffled brunette hair with blond streaks through it. She stands around 6'1" and weighs around 142 lbs. She has a very seductive body, which she uses to her advantage, and her breasts are big like her mother and twin. Also like her mother and twin, she prefers to be naked when she can.

When she is not nude, she wears a suit of green spiked leather that seems to drip scarlet liquid. Attached to her hip is a scabbard containing a poisioned sword.

While she does not make her followers become pierced like her mother and sister do, Poissa is ringed in the same places as Clio.

As her mother was a water nymph, Poissa shares that heritage as well, and can swim expertly underwater.

Favorite Cities: Poissa has one small temple in Petra on Lesbos near her mother's new temple and another small temple in Thessalonica near her fathers. In addition, Poissa shares a temple with her twin sister, Clio, in the city of Corinth. She knows her father's wife doesn't really like her, which is why she chose that location.

Background: Poissa is the product of her father, Ares, deciding to forcibly rape his mischievous daughter, Cassandra, after she failed in an attempted assassination attempt. While Cassie struggled, she enjoyed it and eventually gave in to the pleasure.

Cassandra found out that she was pregnant with babies from two fathers - Ares and her husband Hephaetus. When she did finally give birth, her grandmother, Hera, stole Poissa and gave her to Ares.

Cassandra proceeded to launch a terrible war that brought most gods and goddess into it somehow, but finally, Poissa was returned but not before she went out causing her own brand of mischief when she escaped.

During the war, Zeus chose poisions as Poissa's future domain due to the commonly known fact that Poissa readily could cause poision to come from her body that killed mortals quickly. Wheverer she went, lines of dead bodies lay in her wake.

When her mother's temples were destroyed, Poissa watched as her sister pulled a disappearing act, and quietly followed along to watch. While Clio enjoyed exploring, Poissa used the time to indulge herself and bumped off a few people she didn't like the look of.

Poissa went with her family into the time bubble and was delighted to find animals. So much so that she was caught snapping necks and promptly spanked by her father, who had to replace the chickens she had killed.

She spent her days following Clio around the farm, practising her powers and exploring the small village inside the bubble with them. She was glad there was mortals, and she quickly started using them. As they grew up, Poissa noticed that her good sister wasn't so good and the pair of them got upto a lot of mischief.

After awhile, Clio informed Poissa that not only had she slept with her father, but was pregnant with his child. Poissa was very amused and shortly after, lay with Hephaetus as well to become pregnant.

By the time she left the bubble with her family, she had given birth to Amethyst, a beautiful little girl. Leaving Amethyst in her sister's care, she went to visit her father. In the guise of one of his followers, she made her way through his temple with a poision dagger hidden in the robes. Reaching his chamber, she attempted to stab him, but was found out. She enjoyed the rough treatment he gave her because of it.

After the session, she allied herself with him, letting him know that she would do what she could to help him, and asked if he could teach her how to be a better goddess.

She has started building a series of small temples across Greece, and shares one with her twin sister, Clio, in the city of Corinth. She especially enjoys the monthly ceremonies that Clio runs in all her temples, and has her own followers join in.

Personality: Poissa can only be described as sadistic and cruel. She delights in causing mayhem and murder. Her temper is quite bad and she has a foul mouth. Poissa prefers to work from the shadows, and will only work openly if she has to.

She loves causing and recieving both pain & pleasure from or to anyone. She enjoys it a lot when her father or lovers tie her up and abuse her, although she knows that her mother doesn't like it.

She believes her twin sister, Clio, is too gentle at times, and actively is trying to corrupt her. She knows that Clio enjoys a bit of pain and when she is making out with her sister, she delights in torturing her sister.

Powers: Poissa can spit poision a long distance. In fact, even the smallest touch of any part of her or anything she exudes can kill if she wants it to. She can also create or change items into poisionous versions of themselves. Gods are immune if they want to be.

Poissa is very good at hypnotising mortals, making them act like her puppets. She can choose whether they are aware of what is happening to them or not.

Just like her mother and sister,  Poissa can change the perceptions of mortals and gods (except for a short list when they don't wish it). Poissa isn't as good at it as Cassie or Clio however, mainly because she does not practise it enough.

In addition, she shows great talent in changing her appearance & voice. While she can make herself look male, she prefers not to but will if she has to.

Her favourite method of revenge against those mortals who wronged her is to make her body exude poision while making love to them, possibly in another form. Sometimes, she hypnotises them and makes them suckle at her breast as she exudes poision.

Hobbies & Interests: Poissa enjoys making different poisions and toxins, and seeing the effects.

Sacred Animals: Poissa's sacred animals are the snake, the jellyfish and the spinefish.

Special Notes: Poissa's followers are very devout and have to follow a strict initiation process. New initiates as a group are taken to a secret room under the temples at dusk, where they are tied down so they cannot move. The ceremonies for the initiates to the Corinth temple are held in Lesbos, as she does not want her sister to object. Once that is done, various chants and rituals are performed, involving the removal of any & all clothing. Finally, they are given a special liquid to drink.

Once that is done, hundreds of snakes are brought out and placed on their bodies. The followers then proceed to cause the snakes to rise up and attack through various means, biting the initiate numerous times throughout the night.

Any of the future followers who live through until the next morning have passed the first test successfully. They are given until the next dusk to rest before being taken to a pool in another room. They then are leaded down into the pool where they must lay on a partially submerged stone block & tied down again but not so they drown. Numerous spinefish and jellyfish are placed on their bodies. Females must take some inside themselves while males have them wrapped around after female followers prepare them orally.

Any survivors are allowed to rest some more till the next dusk but told they have passed two of the three tests.

The next dusk, they are taken to the main hall where they are brought up one by one before Poissa after being prepared. She asks them to lay down in front of her. Taking a live & angry scorpion, she will place it inside females or next to the male's member. If neccessary, the scorpion is poked and harrassed using steel rods by other followers.

Once the scorpion has lashed out a number of times, it is removed and Poissa kisses the initiate fully on the mouth & makes them suckle at one of her breasts, emitting a poision into their bodies which will work with the scorpion venomn.

They are taken back to locked rooms and checked on only in the morning. If they are still alive, they become novices and have been granted the ability to resist all poisions by Poissa. Sometimes, she chooses who dies and who doesn't, but other times, she just lets fate take its course.

The bodies of any initiates who died are prepared for the afterlife at the earliest time, so that Hades can claim them.

Her followers at the shared temple in Corinth are allowed by Poissa to actively participate in ceremones with the followers of Clio, knowing that after the ceremonies, most of her female followers will end up pregnant. Poissa normally visits to participate as well when she can.

A small percentage of her followers are trained as soldiers & assassins.

Hades used one of the rings that Hephaetus made to enslave Poissa to his bidding, and she found great pleasure in it.
