Appearance: Melenia is tall for a Greek woman (5' 4"), has brown eyes and long black hair. She normally wears simple plain clothing when outside of the temple, as she is a peasant, but her goddess demands her followers to be naked inside. Sometimes, she leaves her hair to hang down over her shoulders and other times, she ties it up in ponytails or boar-tails.
As with the other followers of Cassandra, Melenia has numerous body
piercings, including her nipples and belly button, made from cold steel by
Hephaetus in exchange for services done by Casandra. Unlike the other followers, Mel is freely
allowed to remove them when she wishes to.

Background: Melenia was born as a peasant in a village
somewhere on the isle of Lesbos. Her parents, who it was known came from an
unknown foreign land, were killed when she was only 2 and
she was left on the steps of the Temple of Cassandra in the village of Petra by
strangers with only a note stating her name. The followers were not able to find
out who she was, but Cassandra decided to take the young girl under her wing.
Melenia was brought up in the temple and joined into the temple ceremonies that
were allowable for a child.
When she was old enough, she was given permission to actively
participate in all parts of the religion involving
sex. Melenia particularly enjoys the ceremony and when she is not working,
Cassandra has made it
known that Melenia has full access to all of her temples.
Even though they are very different in ages, Cassandra sees the twin sister and closest confidant she never had during her childhood in Melenia, while Melenia sees Cassandra as a mother, big sister and close girlfriend in return. It was plainly obvious to everyone for years and finally to Cassandra that Melenia's feelings for Cassie were also more then that between a goddess and a follower, but more like that between lovers. Upon realisation, Cassandra had a very long talk with Melenia and they mutually accepted their feelings & decided to actively pursue a relationship. There is nothing at all in the world that Melenia could not have if she asked, so deep is Cassandra's love for her 'sister'.
A few months ago, Cassandra and Aphrodite were having a series of vicious personal attacks that include property and followers of each goddess. Dite kidnapped Melenia for a short period of time, which very quickly resulted in Cassandra surrendering totally & an uneasy truce between the two vengeful goddesses came about. When Melenia returned to the temple, the pair spent quite a few days and nights locked in passionate embraces.
Now that Cassandra has children, Melenia has been given the task of looking after the little tykes. Due to recent events in Olympus, Cassandra's time is being taken up by Hera and Aphrodite, and consequently, Melenia offered to perform other neccessary duties, such as breastfeeding.
Personality: Due to her upbringing in the temple and
Cassandra's presence in her life, Melenia is very sexually open and delights in
the erotic nature of the temple. During this time, she experienced both sides of
the violent nature of the place as well. Mel delights in being whipped and tied
up, but also participates in giving pain as well. Deep inside, she knows that
she much rathers prefers to recieve however.
Melenia is very pleased about being allowed to look after Poissa and Clio, and honestly loves the two little girls.
Cassandra trusts Melenia more then anyone else, and tells her all
of the goddess's secrets. Melenia loves Cassie so much that she would never
betray her goddess. There is nothing that Melenia will not do for Cassie, and
allows Cassie to take advantage of her at times. They have a very passionate
relationship, and Melenia enjoys some of the more sexual encounters that
Cassandra leads her into, such as visits to satyr camps.
Hobbies &
Interests: Melenia is very interested in reading, and has convinced
Cassandra to build a library on Lesbos. She plays the lyre and has started a
small school in the temple for local children.
When she was young, Cassandra personally taught her how to swim. Cassandra has
also used her powers to 
allow Melenia to always be able to
breathe underwater, and she delights in all the wonderous underwater places that
Cassie takes her. Their most favourite place is an underwater grotto off the
coast of Lesbos where there are soo many seahorses and fish that they tickle
Mel's body.
Mel has very wierd tastes, and can often be found sucking on either limes or lemons.
Special Notes: She is also one of the few mortals that knows about Cassandra's mother, Zoelle.
These days, Melenia can normally be found sunbathing in the pool area of the temple, making love to Cassie in her personal chambers, reading in the Petra Library, teaching in the temple school, or playing with Clio & Poissa in the temple grounds.
With help from Cassandra, Mel has
been given protection from baby Poissa's posionous touch and her breasts have
been forced into lactating. She has found this to be a very pleasurable
experience, to Cassandra's amusement. Sometimes, Cassie sits watching as her
daughters bring pleasure to her lover while getting sustenance as well.
