Appearance: 5f6, Blond with Blue eyes and pale skin. She has Wings which she can retract like her siblings but she is the only one who is depicted with them often. She likes her wings. She often wears white togas or animal skin skirts and tops. Personality: Cool and aloof. Loves only her Parents and siblings, backs them no matter what. Is daddy's little girl. Her temper is as hot as anyone's in her family though she normally keeps it under control and only retaliates when needed. Background: Chrysanthe is the youngest of Hades and Persephone's Quads. She has her mother's blue eyes and blond hair and was born with her wings unrestricted, unlike her sister and two older brothers. Her mother called her 'angel' from the moment she was born, and Hades, her doting father, immediately made sure his youngest child received what ever she wanted. The family spent time in a time bubble where the young gods learned about their powers and their close knit family unit was even more evident when they emerged. They spent 100 years in that bubble, but to the outside world, only hours had passed.
Once clear of the bubble, Chrysie went to claim a city. She chose Serdica. It is a large city in a valley in the high mountains of Greece. It snows all year round, and is protected by the mountains. People there, upon her birth worshipped her relentlessly. Chrysie has a staff made of polished obsidian with a Diamond on the top. This staff is very powerful, A gift from her mother upon their return from the bubble. She uses it to help focus her powers and if the diamond touches a mortal it freezes them instantly into a large ice statue. (She collects them)
Ana may be the more open of Hades daughters when it comes to emotions, though when it comes to sexuality, her little sister Chrysanthe beats her hands down. Chrysie is very much a product of her family line. The granddaughter/Niece of Zeus and Granddaughter/Niece of Demeter, she enjoys the respect she gets from her relations with them as well as the fear and power she gets from being the Daughter of Hades and Persephone, though since her arrival in the normal realm and time flow, she has come into her own. Chrysie brought her favorite animal, the white wolf, to the mountains around the city and set them to guarding it. Allowing only those of the City and those deemed worthy by the City Council and Chrysanthe passage to the City. It is said she has done much good there, including allowing a large area to be converted into a tropical garden for her people. On the highest peek, north to the city, she built her castle/temple. She made it of Ice and white marble, and fashioned it with many turrets. It is from here that the legend of the Snow witch was said to grow. Beneath the main throne room, the floor of which is made of glass, is a large frozen lake, where Chrysanthe spends a lot of her time when she is not involved with her Followers. Her followers are both male and female and Chrysie is very egalitarian about their duties. She has built up an army of female warriors who fight along side the wolves Chrysie favors. They are known as The Snow Wolfs. The snow wolfs are highly trained and work in co-operation with the city guard. They help police her city and when there is need will join with the armies of her siblings and fight with them. A platoon of them resides at the hidden joint temple along with platoons from the other quads temples.
Chrysanthe's Priests and Priestesses call her "Revered Goddess" and there are a number of rituals within her 'following' which are not open to outsiders. There are 5 ranks among those who serve in her temple. Chrysie's followers are loyal and will take offence to any slight against their Goddess. With an entire city of worshipers at her disposal, Chrysie seems to be rather well set up.
5. The lowest of all are called Apprentices. These are aged from 6-14. And are mainly servants to the upper ranks. They do not live at the temple but travel daily to it, via special means in the City. Sexes are segregated. They wear blue robes. (At present, they number 15). Not all make it to the next level. They often find apprenticeships in the city.
4. From Ages 15 to 18, they are kept at the temple. From this age, they are placed in one dorm, both male and female and are forbidden clothing while not working. They are called Novices. They wear Green Robes. (Number 10) Virginity is lost around this time.
3. Priests and Priestesses: From ages 18 and up. They live at the temple, they have their own rooms. (10) They wear Grey Robes with one blue band on the sleeves. They go out into the city and help out where needed.
2. High Priests/Priestesses (4). They wear a grey robe. They chose the novices. And often initiate the junior priests and priestesses into the priesthood. Initiation Rite is classified.
1. One Father Superior and one Mother Superior. Mother Superior: Cynthia. Father Superior: Galen. They attend to Chrysanthe's every need and every whim. Cynthia is said to be Chrysanthe's brood mare, having given birth to 3 female children already. All of whom are kept out of sight. Rumors abound over what they look like and why they are kept away.
Powers: Chrysanthe can control Ice, Snow, Cold winds and sleet. Anything to do with Cold she can control. When she enters a room its temperature drops. Her staff is part of her powers.
